He was Born on the 2nd Nov, 1963 and hails from Abeokuta (Odeda Local Government) in Ogun State, Nigeria.

He attended Ahmadiyya Primary School, Ilaro, Ogun State between 1971 - 1976 then, Remo Divisional High School, Sagamu, Ogun State between 1977 - 1982 for WASC and proceeded to Obokun Grammar School Ilesa, Osun State in 1983 for Advance GCE & ACCA Courses.
He obtained BSc. (Hons) in Accounting at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 1988, got certified in Information Processing & Computer Technology at University of Lagos, Lagos in 1993 and Certificate in Risk Based Approach to Financial Audit at UNITAR in 2012

Mr Akindele Wasiu Dolamu got appointed into Federal Civil Service in the year 1992 as Auditor I, through which He rose to the position of Director of Audit in 2018 having held important and strategic positions in the Office of the Auditor-General for the Federation.
As a Professional Auditor, He is a Fellow, Certified National Accountant (FCNA), Associate Member, Chartered Institute of Taxation (ACTI) ,
Fellow, Chartered Institute of Taxation (FCTI), Fellow, Institute of Corporate Administration of Nigeria (FCAI), Member of Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria.
His hobbies include Reading, Travelling and Socializing.
He is happily married with Children.
