The Office of the Auditor-General for the Federation (OAuGF), in collaboration with the Centre for Democracy and Development (CDD), conducted the second round of the IPSAS/FAM Training on the Audit of Stand Alone Financial Statements for the year ended 31 December 2023. The series of IPSAS/FAM capacity development programme have covered over 500 OAuGF auditors.

The training, held in three batches: 6–9 July, 10–15 July and 16–17 July 2026 at the OAuGF Conference Room, Abuja, was aimed at enhancing auditors' technical capacity in the application of International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) and Financial Audit Manual (FAM), while strengthening audit quality, transparency, accountability and adherence to international best practices in public sector auditing.
