The Auditor-General for the Federation, Chairperson, African Union Board of External Auditors and President, AFROSAI-WGEA, Mr Adolphus A. Aghughu, JP, FCNA, FCTI in conjunction with the Chairman, Senate and House Committees, National Assembly, Nigeria on Public Accounts Committees, Senator (Pharmacist) Matthew A. Urhoghide FPSN, FNApharm and Hon (Dr) Busayo Oluwole Oke respectively, co‐hosts the 2021 edition of the Conference of Auditors-General in Nigeria (COAGN).
The theme of this year's Conference is "Securing Audit Independence Sustainability: The Urgency of Now". The event will hold from 5th to 10th December 2021 at the Banquet Hall, Government House, Benin-City, Edo State.
His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Edo State, Mr Godwin Obaseki is therefore the Chief Host.
The Special Guest of Honour to the Conference is His Excellency, Muhammadu Buhari GCFR, the President and C-in-C of the Armed Forces, Federal Republic of Nigeria
