The Office of the Auditor General for the Federation (OAuGF) in collaboration with the Centre for Democracy and Development (CDD) held a 5-day practical forensic equipment training in Audit House, Abuja with the theme “OAuGF Forensic Laboratory Enhancement & Digitalization within the broad theme of Nigerian Anti-Corruption Agencies Strengthening Initiative Project II” (NACASIP II) in Audit House, Abuja.
The Auditor-General for the Federation (AuGF) Shaakaa.K.Chira FCNA, FCCrFA, FCCFI, FCTI stated that the training was in its second phase which is to further develop the forensic audit capacity.
He urged the participating auditors to take advantage of the opportunities the training presents and especially augment their skills which would enhance the audit capacity.
The Acting Director, CDD, Dr.Sa’eed Hussaini during a coutesy visit to the AuGF expressed CDD’s commitment to its unflinching support for the OAuGF in the execution of its constitutional mandate.
Chira thanked CDD for its commitment to capacity development and the realization of forensic audit in the OAuGF amongst others. He said, ‘the OAuGF would sustain its relationship with CDD and is open to new areas of collaborations.”
