The Auditor-General for the Federation, Mr. Samuel T. Ukura, recently received in audience the Auditor-General of Bauchi State together with some of his management staff.
The delegates were in Abuja to understudy the Office of the Auditor-General for the Federation’s general achievements in the area of Annual Report production, conduct of routine Audit Inspection, Emerging Audit as well as staff training on modern audit techniques.
The Auditor-General for the Federation commended the delegates for their efforts to improve and modernize their job to be in tandem with international best practices.
Mr. Ukura assures them that his Office will always avail the states and local government Audit Institutions in the country of their wealth of experience as a leading Audit Institution in the country.
The Auditor-General of Bauchi State, Alhaji Usman Abdu Aliyu thanked the Auditor-General for the Federation and his management team for the warm reception accorded to them. He stated that they have acquired a lot of knowledge in this their brief visit especial in the area of Emerging Audit such as Risk Base Audit, Performance Audit, Environment Audit etc. He assured them that his Office will make the best use of all the knowledge the have gained.
