The Office of the Auditor General for the Federation (OAuGF) in collaboration with African Organisation of Supreme Audit Institute of English Speaking Countries (AFROSAI-E) conducted a one-week Management Development Programme
between 18th – 22nd March, 2013 at Sheraton Hotels and Towers, Abuja, Nigeria. The objective of the programme was to support the Office of the Auditor-General for the Federation in enhancing Leadership and Management Capacities in order to further develop the organization.
The workshop was facilitated by a core group of managers from Office of the Auditor-General for the Federation (OAuGF) and experts from AFROSAI-E.
In all, 45 Management officers of OAuGF participated in the programme. The participants expressed satisfaction with the outcome of the workshop. They said that the impact of the programme in terms of capacity building is over whelming. This will help them in the performance of the duties.
According to them, it is milestone in the history of the Office that such workshop is conducted with added benefits. It will also improve productivity and enhance efficiency and will make them more committed to their jobs.
They prayed that the Auditor-General should organize more of such programme for them.
